Alejandro Paredes
Alejandro has over 30 years of experience in senior management positions within International Cooperation, focusing on economic growth, workforce development, migration, climate change, and entrepreneurship. He has served as a project manager and director in both the private and public sectors.
He currently serves as a professor in the doctorate program in Economics and Business and MBA at UNITEC. He is a Strategic and Commercial Partner at CPA Auditoria y Consultoria Asociada (member of MGI Worldwide). Previously, he was the Director of the Central American Service Corps (CASC/USAID) project. He has held management roles such as Global Director of the IPARD Program (FSC-IF/USAID), Regional Director of the Advance Program (FHI360/USAID), and Director of the METAS Project (EDC/USAID). Additionally, he served as the Director of Implementation for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) in Honduras.
Holds a Doctorate (Cum Laude) in Economics and Business, a master's degree in project management, and multiple international certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP); Strategic Planning Professional (SPP), and Agile Change Management Qualified (ACMQ). He is also the Founding President of the PMI Honduras Chapter. His contributions have been recognized with the PMI Award for Project Excellence Latin America (2015) by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and as Member of the Year (2016) by the International Association for Strategy Professionals (IASP).
